Marketing Plan Agreement for Beijing Olympics signed


      IOC President Jacques Rogge and the Chairman of the Marketing Commission, Gerhard Heiberg, signed the Marketing Plan Agreement for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games on June 30.

      The agreement, which covers all marketing activity in China as agreed upon by the IOC and the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG), was signed by BOCOG officials in Beijing on Thursday, 26 June and was then brought to Prague by the BOCOG delegation so that it could be signed by the IOC.
