Deng Pufang


   Deng Pufang, male, ethnic Han, born in Guang'an county in southwest China's Sichuan province in April 1944, graduated from Beijing University with a major in nucleonics and started professional career in September 1968, joined Communist Party of China (CPC) in September 1965. Incumbent President of China Disabled Persons' Federation, Chairman of China Welfare Fund for the Handicapped and Executive President of Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG). Previous and current positions: Served as staff member of administrative and economic management section of general office under Central Military Committee (CMC), elected Vice-Chairman and Chairman of China Welfare Fund for the Handicapped, elected Chairman and President of Executive Board of China Disabled Persons' Federation, appointed Executive President of Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) in January 2003.
